MR. TIM REID

Mr. Tim Reid named the 2025 Clyde E. Swift Faculty Award winner.

Mr. Tim Reid is the 2025 winner of Brentwood Academy’s Clyde E. Swift Faculty Award. This award is given to the faculty member with at least three years of service who encourages students to set the highest standard of academic work, demonstrates proficiency in their subject, communicates effectively with students, and possesses a cooperative spirit regarding the mission of the school. 

In the words of Brentwood Academy Head of School Curt Masters, “Tim is a servant leader who is the first to offer help when there's a need, whether to a student who's having challenges in the classroom or out, or stepping in quickly to help and support his colleagues. Tim models how to treat others with kindness and respect. He is not only the chair of the 7th grade, mentoring and encouraging the faculty under him, but he also cares for his students and gets to know them personally.

Tim shows up for others. You'll see him at athletic events, dance and fine arts shows, band concerts, and musicals. He's everywhere. He's an asset to Brentwood Academy as he continues to nurture and challenge those around him daily in their faith, in their academic performance, and in their support of one another. He is a wonderful example of living out the mission and ministry of Brentwood Academy."
